This is my third real estate investment. With my goal to convert some of my business sale proceedings into real estate, a few months of searching resulted in this property purchase.
The loan process for this property was a nightmare (a lot of micromanaging was needed even to just close 2 weeks beyond closing), but what matters is that it closed. What’s interesting is that this is my first Section 8 property - where rents are guaranteed by the government but with the public perception that Section 8 tenants may be less desirable. I’m excitedly curious to see how this goes.
