We used software that relied upon Instagram's API to automate everything from uploading the posts customers purchased through our website to engaging with our audience. IG's API was updated and those actions could not be performed reliably anymore through automation, and manually managing 200+ Instagram accounts was not viable at the time.
Foodies of Instagram started out as a bunch of Instagram foodie accounts I created to try and promote Cravinga. The accounts collectively received hundreds of DMs daily from restaurants and food brands, including national and international brands, asking to be featured on the pages. So I figured why not turn it into a business?
